Pre-Sales Engineer – Hydrogen Solutions

XINTC is growing fast. We’re looking for a hands-on Pre-Sales Engineer to support our international commercial efforts.
You’ll be part of the core Business Development team, working directly with the CEO and Director of BD to handle technical sales interactions, shape customer proposals, and support our rollout of advanced alkaline electrolyser systems across global markets.

What you’ll do

• Act as a first technical point of contact for new industrial leads and project developers
• Support inbound inquiries from companies interested in using XINTC’s electrolysers for:
  – Hydrogen as feedstock for chemical processes
  – Hydrogen for mobility and transport applications
  – Hydrogen as a clean supplement to natural gas combustion
• Prepare and explain Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) calculations using internal tools
• Draft and follow up on technical proposals and quotations
• Help shape customer system configurations based on use case, energy input, and site constraints
• Collaborate with the engineering and R&D teams to stay aligned on specs, delivery options, and system updates
• Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and quotation stages

What you bring

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technical Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology, Mechatronics, or similar
• 1–3 years of relevant experience and strong motivation to learn fast in a commercial-technical environment
• Solid technical understanding and the ability to translate system specs into clear proposals
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English
• Professional, responsive, and structured working style
• A strong personal interest in clean energy, hydrogen, and the global energy transition
• The ability to read and respond to cultural differences in international business settings, you’re comfortable adapting tone, pace, and approach depending on who’s across the table
• A valid residence and work permit for the Netherlands
